Today I wrap up many months of blog redesign with some obvious statements.
To attract your niche market you need to first identify them. (Market Research)
Second, you need to know what they type into the search engines when they are looking for you. (Keyword Research)
Once you know that, make sure you provide what they are looking for when they visit your blog. (SEO & Webdesign)
Sounds simple right?
My philosophy is simplicity.
Keep it simple and deliver.
So what is my next project?
Well, since my blog is about creating cash flow for your retirement I should write a report on that subject.
Makes sense.
I will then give that report away for free on my blog.
Makes sense again.

Hi Peter,
I love this concept. But then I’m biased. The name of my website is http://www.AttractYourNiche.com
Like you, I like to create step-by-step systems. Here’s my simple take on, what I like to call, solving the Niche Puzzle.
Figure out WHO you help, WHAT solution you provide and WHY people should work with you.
When you can answer those three questions, you are able to create a message and voice that attracts your ideal niche.
Many thanks and warm wishes,
Cindy

Thanks for the wrap up, short and sweet. Knowing what people are looking for and giving it to them so effective.
Sometimes I find questions in my google analytics and via email, no matter how simple it seems, blog about it, many more people will have the same basic questions.

Peter,
I had to revisit your amazing site. This subject I have followed up to the closing.
I have had a habit of not focusing on a certain niche. I deal with spreading it out to locate people in certain phases of their lives. Like those hunger right now to the point they can’t take another guru, book, tape and conference. They want action and results to get their ultimate end result, success as they determined.
Now, it may take me longer to build a real relationship with each person. However, I have a new friend/client/member for a lifetime. We know something of each others. Now, we have things in common and passionate about the same goal.
That is how I focus on people v.s niches. Maybe I think different. I see things and not people. I can feel their pain and suffering. I can feel there disappointments and rage. Now, with Skype and Video emails. We can share real feelings face to face. This makes it faster for my method of building that relationship bonded on trust.
Peter, I would love to get into your mind for about a year. Shadow your every move in consulting with new members. Take in all that wisdom and share it with the masses with a different approach.
You a great mentor and leader in our global industry. If your ever going to start a Mastermind group. Count me in. Love every moment of your blogs visits.
Thank you for sharing with all your reader and I.

Peter,
I have done market research, keyword searches and web design, with some SEO (but not enough). There really are many pieces to the puzzle. One is to check out what your competitors or colleagues in your niche are doing and to discover in which ways you are unique, your unique selling proposition. Then, of course, it all has to be implemented.

Peter,
this information of the conclusion is a wonderful way to end the subject on a powerful activity that to many people miss the way.
Research to gain insight and knowledge of your chosen niche is key. Then giving them what they think is a need and you can follow the tracks of what is wanted through various tools. Google is my favorite tool.
Peter your a great coach and mentor in our industry and it is an honor to say we are friends. Thank you for all you do and continue to support the masses.

Hi Peter,
I really enjoyed reading this series of posts. Thanks so much for your insightful teachings. You are so right… simplicity is key and it is imperative that we know who we are marketing to, what our niche is made of and then hand feed them what they are wanting, needing and looking for. You’ve simplified this so anyone can do it.
Thanks again.

Peter,
Your post reminded me of the days when I was taking guitar lessons. Each teacher had his own method of teaching and would not stray from that. But one teacher was truly creative and made it all so simple for me that I was freely improvising (jazz guitar) and actually creating and writing songs. It is not easy to simplify. It is much easier to add layers and layers of complication which leads to overwhelm.
Now, I am finally ready to simplify my online process and focus on attracting my ideal clients in my niche. Thanks for another great article.

Hi Peter,
You give a simple explanation of how to build a blog here. Market research and keyword research are key to find the right people. In the end, I see article marketing of keyword rich copy with links to your blog, plus really cutting material on the blog once people get there.
Get your content right and then drive traffic using advertising, social media and whatever else you can come up with, and one day your blog will start gettiong tons of generic traffic.
My point is that multiple strategies are required to really get to the top.

You are so right…success will follow those who are prepared and do the research and the #1 ingredient is to “discover your Niche” and then feed them what they are hungry for.
You have summarized this in a way that everyone can relate to and hopefully see that it can be accomplished and we CAN keep it SIMPLE.
Keep up the great work,

That was an excellent ending
to a really interesting series.
Knowing your niche through market research is of course such an important aspect of any project…
All too often, modern days online marketing warriors first look for keywords and then go on to do their market research. That in itself is not bad, but it does imply that the subject of their campaign is not a topic that they have had any passion for, had it not been for the potential market value of a particular set of keywords.
Keep the Smiles,
Stevie
